Dark Heart slowly woke up to find that the storm was still raging. She must not have slept long...Then she remembered the brave Arcanine who saved her. DarkStorm...and she had gone and left him without even saying.

He was probably furious he did'nt seem to like Rynez much.. Dark Heart opened her maw and let out a quiet yawn. She then looked over to Rynez who seemed to still be asleep.

Her paw felt much better after all that pain but a scar would probably form and stay there for the rest of her life. Just one more thing to smile about.

Kyu tried to swim, but couldn't. The water engulfed her...... She fought it. "Help!!" She screamed. Not the best swimmer, Kyu. The helmet on her head just dragged her down. Rocks smashed her.....

Quiet.
All was.
Cold.

Wide awake!
We all were!

Solar jumped up, her eyes blazing with fear.

"Owowwwww!!!!!" She yowled, warning the storm was underway. This was not good. How could it be? She had to get to a high place, where any flood would never reach.

Bolting off, she scampered over the short grass, which flew in the wind. Her paws burned as they hit solid stone, but Solar kept going. Her pitch black fur blew in directions they shouldn't be. No, not giving up!

The water was rising. It came up high, covering the land quickly. "Noooo!!!!!" Solar screeched, jumping higher onto the mountain. She finally reached the top, paws aching. It was time.

Looking around, she howled into the night. Ha! A Vulpix, howling? Yes! It was quite clear, actually. Suddenly, a dark flash washed over her, blinding her. Oh..... The power..... Under her paw, sat the remains of a pitch black fire stone.

Sitting in awe, she knew. She was a Ninetales!

The Arcanine ran, his fur trailing in the wind. Rising..... Water..... He saw her. The water flowed in around him. How could he reach her. Try! He ran through the water. All he could do! Nearly to Dark Heart. Nearly to.... his love. But no.... He was getting sucked under.

"Goodbye! Dark Heart, I love you!" He said, as he drifted away, words echoing. Ougta leave something behind him.....

Lunar swam calmly in the water. He was used to floods. He was a Quagsire; what was not to like about water? The rain was pouring down, almost like the sky was crying furiously. He was slowly rising up, and up, being swished back and forth. He smiled slightly.

"Oh the advantedges of being a Quagsire..." He flipped onto his back, and dove under. He acted like a light; it would obviously show where he was. But maybe there were Pok~{(&~}mon trapped here. He could help them.

If there are any survivors... he thought grimly.

Dark Heart walked outside the stone cavern and thought she hard her voice. Water was up past her paws and was starting to drain into Rynez's cave. Then she saw him. Dark Storm and he was being taken away by the current. Looking back at the cave she wondered if Rynez could swim against this current.

Luckily she could and she ran after Dark Storm. Getting to lower land she fell into the water with a splash and had to swim from here on out. The current was strong..stronger then she had imagined it. "Hold on Dark Storm!" Dark Heart cried out swimming after the Arcanine.
